Almost a month after husband Raj Kundra was arrested, Shilpa Shetty Kundra made her first on-screen appearance and ironically spoke about how to fight your way out of despair and find happiness. She was part of a Covid-19 fundraiser, We for India, which was held virtually on Sunday night. The yoga enthusiast said, "It is natural to have negative thoughts during tough situations but to control those emotions, it is important to do breathing exercises." She added that to remain positive, doing pranayam - the yogic practice of increasing life energies - has become an important tool in the present times. The actor also demonstrated breathing exercises to increase immunity. Yoga has kept her going despite the odds.
Lisa Haydon, who has named her daughter, Lara, shared a picture with the newborn and wrote, "Was it just World Breastfeeding Week? In honour of it, Lara would like to thank everyone that has given her a seat at the table." The Hong Kong-based model-actor added, "Having three kids [Zack, Leo and Lara] in four years, I thought we'd be taking it one day at a time, but we're taking it one feed at a time." Haydon wed businessman Dino Lalvani in 2016.

Nidhhi Agerwal is hoping to begin anew in B-Town after featuring in the music video of Altaaf Raja's chartbuster, Saath kya nibhaoge, helmed by Farah Khan. Two days after their quiet wedding, Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani shared snapshots from the ceremony on social media. Riteish Deshmukh makes his digital debut with Shashanka Ghosh's Plan A Plan B. The quirky comedy also features Tamannaah Bhatia, Poonam Dhillon and Kusha Kapila. The Netflix film, written by Rajat Arora, follows a matchmaker, who believes marriage is for everyone except herself till she meets a divorce lawyer with a dark secret. Deshmukh, who was last seen in Baaghi 3 (2020), says, "What excited me the most about the film was the terrific storyline and the journey of this unexpected love story."
On Monday, Saif Ali Khan celebrated his 51st birthday in Maldives, where he is holidaying with wife Kareena Kapoor and kids, Taimur and Jehangir. David Dhawan clocked 70 years on Monday. Son Varun Dhawan wished him by posting a video on Instagram that documented the filmmaker's journey in the industry. The clip captured scenes from his various comic capers including Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Partner (2007), Main Tera Hero (2014) and Judwaa 2 (2017). Varun wrote, "FTII gold medallist, director of 45 motion pictures and editor of 33 films, and, above all, the king of comedy."
Amid the conflict in Afghanistan and growing fears, Anurag Kashyap shared an open letter from filmmaker Sahraa Karimi, who is the chairperson of the Afghan Film Organisation. She talked about the atrocities faced by the people and urged everyone to spread her message. "Please help us get the world to not abandon Afghanistan. Please help us before the Taliban takes over Kabul. We have such little time," she wrote.
