Every Tuesday, Shilpa Shetty Kundra shoots for Super Dancer 4 at Film City, Goregaon. The actor, who is a judge on the dance reality show along with filmmaker Anurag Basu and choreographer Geeta Kapoor, gave the shoot a skip yesterday. As soon as husband Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday in a case related to the alleged making of pornographic films, it was given that she would do a no-show. Karisma Kapoor, who was the celebrity guest, filled in for her. It is learnt that the producers and the channel are giving Shetty time to figure out whether she wants to continue. Earlier this year, when Shetty's family, including Kundra, had contracted the Coronavirus, she had taken a break, and Malaika Arora had replaced her.
After the Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter-starrer Phone Bhoot and Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Kapoor's Bhoot Police, one more horror comedy is in the making. Thankfully, it does not have the word bhoot in the title to add to the confusion. On Tuesday, Ronnie Screwvala announced his next production, Kakuda, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem. The film revolves around a ghost questioning superstition and tradition. It will be helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, who is known for his critically-acclaimed Marathi film Mauli (2018), which featured Deshmukh as actor-producer. Like Bhoot Police, Kakuda will also drop on an OTT platform.
