Ajay Devgn
After the mammoth success of Drishyam 2, the trade circuit is eagerly waiting for Ajay Devgn's next, Bholaa. However, one film that went on floors much earlier is Maidaan. Amit R Sharma's directorial venture stars Ajay as iconic Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who led the national team during its golden run from 1950 to 1962. Initially slated to arrive last June, the sports drama's release was rescheduled several times over, and was to hit the marquee on May 12. Now, it has been deferred again to June 23. While the film's date with cinemas was previously altered due to technical reasons, this time around, it is for want of a clear window. An industry source says that the change of date won't hamper the film's prospects. "Maidaan is the kind of film that will depend on reviews and audience's positive word-of-mouth," says the source.

In a lengthy post, she revealed how the actor was a true gentleman, and kept her mind off the turbulence by talking to her. Along with a picture with the Thar actor, she wrote, "When [the plane] landed, Anil ji said, âA lot of people will tell you anxiety is bad. But today, due to your anxiety, we both got a chance to talk, and laugh'. He was such a genuine co-passenger."

Last year, Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra parted ways with the talent management division of Yash Raj Films. Now, we hear that YRF Talent has ended its association with three actors. Reportedly, Manushi Chhillar, Vishal Jethwa and Anya Singh are no longer a part of the YRF fold, and can collaborate with another agency. While the former Miss World made her movie debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Samrat Prithviraj (2022), Vishal forayed into the Hindi film industry as the menacing villain in Rani Mukerji-starrer Mardaani 2 (2019). Anya's maiden offering was the studio's 2017 musical drama, Qaidi Band. It is heard that the bosses at YRF Talent are reworking their business strategy, and will sign on newer faces in the year ahead.
