As the charming younger brother of Shah Rukh Khan, Zayed Khan delivered an impactful performance in Main Hoon Na. However, on an ongoing reality show, Farah Khan recently revealed that it was Hrithik Roshan who was initially considered for the role. "Casting Zayed was challenging. The film got delayed for one year in that process. At first, we thought of casting Hrithik Roshan for the role, but then, Kaho Na Pyaar Hai released, and he became a megastar. I saw a scene of Zayed Khan in some other film, and I thought of Mohabbat hai mirchi. I met him and changed the role," she revealed on Indian Idol.
Amar Upadhyay made his production debut with Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho. The actor says, "People have given me so much love as an actor. It is because of their love that I am what I am today. I am grateful that my fans have supported me and loved my show, Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho." Upadhyay shot to fame as Mihir Virani in the show, Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and was also seen as Virendra Pratap Singh in Molkki.

As the year draws to a close, many Bollywood celebrities are heading out of the city to mark the new year with their dear ones. Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, who tied the knot last year, have headed to Jawai Leopard Safari in Bali, Rajasthan. Jawai has more than 40 families of leopards and is famous for the big cat sightings. It is surrounded by the Aravalli range of mountains. The place is famous among the elite section of society.
Everyone could learn a lesson or two from Seema Sajdeh on dealing with trolls. On an ongoing chat show, Sajdeh recalled the time when she was trolled after a viral video of her in an inebriated state made its way to social media. Responding to a question on the video, she said, "I am actually grateful for all the judgment, because somewhere it has helped me become thick-skinned. You will react once, you will react twice, after the third time, you are like âwhatever'; faceless, nameless people! I want to tell them they will be seeing it again. Everybody has become a judge and a jury."

Things finally seem to be looking up for Jacqueline Fernandez. The actor, who was embroiled in controversy for months in an ongoing extortion case, is finally making her way to the big screen again. After Rohit Shetty's recently released Cirkus, she will apparently feature in Fateh. As per reports, the film will see her join hands with Sonu Sood, who will also reportedly produce the film.

As per Variety, Indian filmmaker Dr Bijukumar Damodaran has completed post-production on the Malayalam film Adrishya Jalakangal. Starring Tovino Thomas, who featured in Netflix's Minnal Murali, the film explores events that occur when a window into a metaphysical realm that exists beyond human reality opens for an individual. Two-time Grammy winner Ricky Kej has composed the music for the film, which is set in an imaginary space. The script is socially driven and touches on elements of society related to the notion of war.
Amid his 57th birthday celebrations, a handwritten note, reported to belong to Salman Khan, has made its way to social media. The letter, which dates back to 1990, has Khan express gratitude for his success as an actor. "I have to thank you for accepting me and for being my fans. I am concentrating on good scripts to the best of my judgement, because I know that whatever I do now will be compared to Maine Pyaar Kiya. So whenever you hear an announcement, be rest assured that it is going to be a good film. I love you, and I hope that you will keep on loving me, because the day you stop loving me, you'll stop seeing my films and that is the end of my career," read the note.
