Sara Ali Khan and Shubham Gill
If something happens once, it could be attributed to chance. If it happens again, it can't be mere coincidence. That's why it appears that there is more to Sara Ali Khan and Shubham Gill being spotted together, than meets the eye. The Atrangi Re actor and the Indian cricketer were recently seen leaving from a hotel in Delhi, after which, they reportedly boarded a flight together. In a video that is doing the rounds on social media, Sara can be seen clicking selfies with fans just as she steps into the aeroplane. Later, she can be seen going and sitting next to Shubham. A few weeks ago, the duo was seen having dinner at Bastian in Bandra, which triggered dating rumours. Now, after their recent spotting, netizens are wondering if the two are more than just good friends. Going by Sara's sightings with Shubham, it looks like she is no more interested in the cheese platter (read Vijay Deverakonda) that girl pal Janhvi Kapoor offered her on a talk show a couple of months ago. At least for now.
Like their film counterparts, TV actors, too, are doing their own stunts. For an upcoming episode of Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, Neeharika Roy braved the raging flames for a scene that required her to save Gungun (Reeza Chaudhary) after being pushed into a fire by Sambhabana Mohanty's character Damini. "It was scary, yet exciting," says Neeharika, who is performing stunts for the first time in her career. She adds, "Every day is new lesson for me. I learned how to rock-climb, I shot a sequence in a borewell and pit. My first reaction to most of these stunts was âHow will I do it?' Then, I took a deep breath and go gave it my all."

Sanya Malhotra, who began filming the Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit, The Great Indian Kitchen yesterday, got a special gift from director Arati Kadav. "May the force be with us. Thanks for the baby Yoda," she wrote alongside the pictures she shared on social media and tagged the director. Interestingly, Sanya finalised her look for the movie while travelling between Delhi and Chennai. She was shuttling between the two cities for the shoot of Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur and Atlee's Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan. The actor has some respite as she is currently shooting only for Arati's film now.
For the second time in recent months, an Aamir Khan venture has been at the receiving end from netizens and janta alike. This time around, for a bank's commercial, co-starring Kiara Advani. Social media users did not take kindly to the ad and alleged that it tried to break Hindu wedding traditions. Facing flak for selectively targetting only one religion's traditions and rituals, the bank has reportedly withdrawn the ad from social media channels. In August, the actor-producer was criticised for several scenes in Laal Singh Chaddha, his remake of Tom Hanks's Forrest Gump (1994). Recently, Vivek Agnihotri reacted to the ad on social media, saying, "I just fail to understand since when banks have become responsible for changing social & religious traditions? I think @aubankindia should do activism by changing corrupt banking system. Aisi bakwaas karte hain fir kehte hain Hindus are trolling (sic)."
Veteran actor Tanuja is the special guest of this weekend's Ladies Special episode of Indian Idol season 13. Besides winning judges' hearts with his vocal skills, crooning songs like Yeh dil na hota bechara, Baroda boy Shivam Singh will be seen recreating Kishore Kumar's peppy number, Chala jaata hoon, from Mere Jeevan Saathi (1972) that starred Tanuja with the late Rajesh Khanna. The veteran actor couldn't refuse Shivam when he went down on his knees to request her company on stage as he crooned the chartbuster. "Shivam is a very cute boy," said Tanuja, impressed with his honest gesture.
For several B-Town celebrities, it is a tradition to celebrate Karwa Chauth at Anil and Sunita Kapoor's residence in Juhu. However, unlike Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Raveena Tandon and many others who fast on the occasion, Anil and Sunita's daughter Sonam K Ahuja doesn't. The Veere Di Wedding actor, who participated in the celebrations, shared that since her husband Anand Ahuja isn't a fan of Karwa Chauth as he thinks fasting should only be intermittent, she has never fasted. Sharing pictures on social media, Sonam wrote, "But both of us are big believers that festivals and traditions are a great reason for family and friends to come together. I love that my mom loves celebrating it and I love being a part of it and dressing up." Praising mom Sunita for hosting the best dos, she added, "Your energy and generosity is legendary and I hope to follow the same path."
Several months after it was announced, Prabhas's next film with director Maruthi will begin on Monday with a puja in a Hyderabad studio. Talk in Tollywood is that the actor plays a double role in the narrative that is set in two distinct timelines. So, Prabhas will be seen playing the character of a grandfather and his grandson. Interestingly, he has three leading ladies. While Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal are reportedly on board, the third heroine will be finalised shortly. Prabhas will shoot for about a week, after which he will fulfil his prior commitments to Prashanth Neel's Salaar and Nag Ashwin's Project K, before resuming work on Maruthi's yet-untitled film.
