Shah Rukh Khan is currently on cloud nine as his team, Kolkata Knight Riders, have qualified for the IPL 2024 finale. Throughout the season, KKR has been playing exceptionally well, and Shah Rukh Khan has been attending most of the matches. Last night, KKR beat SRH and became the first finalists.
Soon after the match, Suhana, AbRam, and Shah Rukh Khan came out onto the field to celebrate the victory by taking a lap. During the lap, Shah Rukh struck his signature pose, making thousands of his fans go gaga. The actor met his team players, hugged them, and planted kisses on their cheeks. After that, Shah Rukh also went to meet the players of Sunrisers Hyderabad and chatted with them.
Shah Rukh Khan has been lifting the spirits of the players on his team. KKR star spinner Varun Chakaravarthy, while talking about Shah Rukh, said, "SRK has been present at almost all matches in Kolkata. Even in the match where we didn't do well, he came to the dressing room and spoke to every player for an hour and hugged everyone." Shreyas Iyer, the team captain of Kolkata, also praised Shah Rukh Khan and shared, "His presence itself brings zest to the team environment. The attitude and approach automatically change. It's the perception over here (points to head)."

On the work front, SRK returned to the silver screen with Siddharth Anand's 'Pathaan' in January 2023. The film also marked SRK's first hit after his sabbatical of four years following a series of flicks such as 'Zero' and 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'. After 'Pathaan', King Khan returned to theaters in September with 'Jawan'. The film once again saw SRK in an action avatar.
In December, he came up with 'Dunki', which also did decent business at the box office. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Dunki' focuses on the issue of immigration. He has not announced his next project yet. However, if reports are to be believed, he will be seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan in 'Tiger vs Pathaan'. The film will reportedly have Tiger (Salman) locking horns with Pathaan, played by Shah Rukh Khan. The official announcement regarding the project is still awaited.
