In Pic: Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have wowed the audience with their beautiful chemistry in Nitesh Tiwari's directorial "Bawaal." Their chemistry in the film left all of us wanting more. It feels like the two actors have a surprise for their fans, as rumours are rife that Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are planning to join hands once again, this time for a David Dhawan film.
According to reports from India Today, the director of "Main Tera Hero" is 'putting together a project for the duo.' The official confirmation for the same is yet to come. If these reports of their collaboration are true, it will mark the fourth professional collaboration between the father-son duo after "Main Tera Hero," "Judwaa 2," and "Coolie No. 1." It was earlier reported by Pinkvilla that the two are planning a film that will go on floors in April 2024.
As per the reports in Pinkvilla, a source told them that the film will have two leading ladies alongside Dhawan. As per the portal quoted, a source revealed, "David Dhawan has been exploring several ideas over the last few years and has finally got one that warrants a full-fledged theatrical outing for the families. Much like David Dhawan's world of comedies, this one too will see a Varun Dhawan alongside two leading ladies. The humour of this yet untitled comic caper is a result of confusion in the love life of the protagonist. Varun is very excited too to revisit the comic space after a while."
There were also rumours of Janhvi Kapoor is being onboarded opposite Varun Dhawan in the new Dulhania film. Over six years since Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), director Shashank Khaitan and producer Karan Johar are said to have found an apt subject to take forward the franchise that began with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014). Reportedly, Alia Bhatt, who played the bride in the romcom series won't be reuniting with Varun, Shashank and KJo for the third outing. Incidentally, like the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor, Janhvi, too, is a Dharma protégée, having debuted with the production house's Dhadak (2018). The makers are planning to start the rom-com later this year after Varun completes his remake of Atlee's Tamil hit, Theri (2016)
