Kangana Ranaut launched a fresh tirade against Karan Johar after Kartik Aaryan was removed from the filmmaker's upcoming production, Dostana 2. Over the weekend, there were speculations galore about what prompted KJo to take such a harsh step, including the talk that the filmmaker has ‘vowed never to work with him again'. Ranaut posted a series of tweets, asking KJo to not ‘target' Aaryan like Sushant Singh Rajput.

Many users compared Kartik's position with late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was allegedly a victim of nepotism and groupism. Kartik's fans also hurled verbal attacks at filmmaker Karan Johar.

"Suddenly negative PR rounding against #KartikAaryan. Unprofessional behaviour blah blah!!! Why there are so much negative article/PR always against outsiders?? Due to this we lost Sushant. #Kangana is battling through And now #KartikAaryan," tweeted a user.

"The way Kartik remains unbothered by all the chaos created by that filthy jerk man and his minions and is still being professional by minding his own business is what we call grace that most of them lack. Keep shinning @TheAaryanKartik #KartikAaryan," wrote another user.

"Those who say #KartikAaryan is unprofessional are biggest clown. He is one of the most talented, Hard working, Determined and focused person in this film Industry," shared another user.

"Have u seen #KaranJohar blacklisting

' Janhvi kapoor
Who he blacklisted:
#KartikAaryan #SSR
Do i need to say anything more @TheAaryanKartik Just boycott this KJO," commented another user.

"Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence -- we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D'Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon," the announcement read on the Instagram handle dharmamovies.

As per unconfirmed reports, differences reportedly emerged between the makers and the actor, and Dharma Productions have decided not to collaborate with the actor in future. According to unauthenticated sources, the makers have lost around Rs 20 crore with Kartik's exit, since 20 days of shoot were already completed and these will have to be re-shot with a new actor.

The sources said "after 20 days of shoot, Kartik had issues with script and felt that it was not okay", adding that the actor was also not allotting dates to the project.

"Dostana 2" also stars actress Janhvi Kapoor.
