Actors Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan made their film debut with the movie, 'Student of The Year' in 2012. The three turned out to be the most promising actors of the decade and went on to deliver films that were praised by critics and audiences. While they did have their share of ups and downs, the three managed to win over the audience with their craft. As their debut film clocks 10 years today, Karan Johar, who directed the film took to Instagram to share throwback pictures with the three 'Students' and penned a note for them.
"Down the years with my students of every year! So proud of their cinema journey! It's no Raaz(I) that they have mastered the ABCD of their craft and emerged as Shershaahs of goodness and talent! Love you!," he wrote sharing individual pictures with Alia, varun and Sidharth from the past.
"10 years to a very special film and some very special careers," wrote Manish Malhotra commenting on the post.

Karan also took to his Instagram story and hailed Kayoz Irani, son of Boman Irani, who made his debut with the film. "My darling Kayo! 10 years to you as an actor!!! And this year you begin your feature directorial journey... so so so proud of you! Love you..."

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is currently working on his upcoming directorial 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' which features Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead along with Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. The film will be released in the second half of 2023.
