Kartik Aaryan, who is currently basking in the glory of his latest Netflix film Dhamaka, turned 31 today. The actor has established himself in the industry and has carved his own niche the showbiz in a very short span of time. We all saw a glimpse of Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequel wherein he gave us some serious horror vibes in an all-black outfit. The horror-comedy, which also stars Kiara Advani and Tabu in pivotal roles is directed by Anees Bazmee and will release on March 25, 2022. In an exclusive interview with mid-day.com, Anees Bazmee had said, "Kartik is someone whose work I had liked since his first film. If I like someone's work, it doesn't matter if the person knows me or not, I find their phone number and congratulate them. He was happy that âAnees bhai ka phone aaya.' So we have always had that equation. We would meet at parties, at other times we would be shooting at London at the same time... so we would hang out at coffee shops. He loved the script of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2."

For his romantic thriller Freddy with Alaya F, Kartik Aaryan underwent a physical transformation in a record time of 10 days. The actor gained about 12 to 14 kilos, which was a requirement for his role in Ekta Kapoor film packed with unpredictable twists and sharp turns. The film is directed by Veere Di Wedding helmer Shashanka Ghosh.
Kartik Aaryan plays the role of a brave pilot in Captain India, helmed by National award laureate Hansal Mehta. This inspiring action-drama will be a story of a pilot who showed exemplary bravery and courage. The story is inspired by India's biggest and most successful rescue missions from a war-torn country.
Earlier titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha, the makers decided to change the title of this Kartik Aaryan film to avoid hurting any sentiments. The film is being directed by Sameer Vidwans, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is billed as 'a soulful musical love saga'.
Kartik Aaryan will play the lead in the official adaptation of Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020). The film revolves around a young man eager for validation from his father, who in turn criticises and neglects him. The protagonist later learns that he was switched at birth, and that his biological father is an affluent businessman. The Hindi adaptation features Kriti Sanon as the leading lady. "Kartik will sport a different look in the film. The Mumbai set is being closely guarded to prevent any leaks. The makers have also requested Kartik to not put out any pictures on social media. Rohit wanted to shoot the film on a start-to-finish schedule. The actor has complete faith in the project and was more than willing to dedicate the next six months to it. After an extensive schedule in the city, Rohit and his team will head to Delhi," Hitlist quoted a source.
Buzz is that Besides Kartik will also have an extended cameo in Netflix's Masaba Masaba 2. "Ashvini Yardi had met him at a party, and discussed a part she had in mind. Kartik was instantly kicked about it. In keeping with its light-hearted spirit, the series will see Kartik play an exaggerated version of himself - an immensely popular star, complete with starry airs," Hitlist quoted a source.
