Koffee With Karan 8: Ananya Panday reveals Sara Ali Khan threatened to beat her, here's why!

Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday reunited for the third episode of Koffee With Karan 8. It premiered at midnight. The actresses were at their candid best. From career, films, family to relationships, they spoke about everything in depth.

During a conversation with host Karan Johar, Sara opened up about not having unrealistic expectations from anyone in the industry. The actress said she doesn't expect any of her friend to tell her, "I won't look at a boy that you like or I won't do a film that you're interested in." Moments later, Ananya shared an incident that left Sara wondering.

Ananya revealed, "Sara has threatened me saying I'll beat you up if you look at this person, on various occasions." Sara asked her ‘Who'. Ananya said that threat worked for her. "It has worked. I listened to this threat," she replied. While Sara laughed about the incident, Ananya said, "I had zero interest but she threatened me."

On Koffee With Karan 8, Sara addressed her breakup with Kartik Aaryan. She said, "I don't want to say that ya, it's all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn't always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it's friends, professionally, or romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, ‘Oh yeah, it doesn't really matter, whatever its today, whatever it's tomorrow'. It's not like that. It does affect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that."

She further added, "Something I have realized without sounding semi-negative, is that there are no permanent predicaments in this business. In my personal experience, there is no point making permanent best friendships, pinky promises, saying I'll never talk to you again. All these nevers and always nahi hota (doesn't happen)."

On the other hand, Ananya confirmed dating Aditya Roy Kapur. During the episode, when Ananya was asked about her relationship status, the actress dropped hints while subtly confirming that she's dating 'The Night Manager', Aditya. Continuing the trend of using movie titles in hints, Karan asked Ananya if she's 'Gumraah in love'. The actress responded by saying, "Aashiqui aise hi hoti hai (such is love)." Gumraah and Aashiqui 2 were headlined by Aditya. When Karan prodded her further, she said, "Some things are private and special and it should be kept that way but I really want to talk about my professional life because no one's talking about it." In spite of multiple attempts to make Ananya answer the question, she refused to give details. Instead, Ananya said that they were friends. Citing a dialogue from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan said, "Pyaar dosti hai," and she replied, "We're best friends."
