Karan Johar
The debut episode of Koffee With Karan 8 was indeed special. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made their first appearance together on the show and gave it a fantastic opening. The couple gave insights into their relationship and marriage on Karan Johar's highly popular chat show. While Deepika and Ranveer's lesser-known love story caught attention, it was their wedding video that stole the show.
The couple tied the knot in November 2018 in Italy in a private ceremony with only family members in attendance. The video commenced with mushy footage of Deepika getting emotional at her mehendi and Ranveer wiped off her tears and licked it. The wedding video features unseen footage from the ceremonies. At their official ring ceremony, Ranveer's father revealed the actor's dream was to marry Deepika one day and how it just came true. The actress' father, Badminton champion Prakash Padukone said Ranveer is exactly the opposite of the Padukones and why it was a much-needed change.
The video had us all in tears by the end of it and admittedly, Karan Johar too. The filmmaker appeared teary-eyed once the video had ended. He expressed that while he was overjoyed for the couple, he also felt lonely at the same time. Karan Johar stated, "God! There's a line in my film ki aisa lagta hai ki mere dil ka pet bhar gaya hai (my heart is full)."
On seeing Karan Johar tearing up, Ranveer and Deepika immediately got up to give him a hug. The âRocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' director, admitted that he was so content for DeepVeer, he could not help but feel alone at the same time." I am not in a relationship and I am kind of single. It just makes me feel like what I am losing out on not being in one," KJo added.

Karan Johar's on feeling lonely after watching DeepVeer's wedding video had us all feeling a twinge of sadness.
The KWK couch is famously known for its manifesting powers and seemingly tapping into that energy, Karan added how he wants to manifest this kind of love. The filmmaker further said, "You don't have a partner of your own to share the nothings of your day with. And every day, I wake up and a little part of me feels that vacuum,".
He clarified saying, "I have my kids and mom but when I see this and I see you, and I know relationships are tough, but that soul connection with a person that you can wake up with, hold their hand, and see your day through tough times. I don't think I've had a moment like this on my own show. I felt so happy for you and I felt so alone yet. I hope this manifests into, I hope I have a story to tell," admitted Karan.
