Amid the second wave of Coronavirus, the country has come together to help each other. While many have been suffering to get the needed treatment as the health and medical experts suffer to reach everyone affected by the pandemic. In such a situation, many celebrities have come forward to extend help, there is support pouring in from all quarters from the common man. In a recently held Covid relief fundraiser, actress Kriti Sanon shared how no amount is big or small and that every bit counts, even if you might think it doesn't. She also spoke her thoughts on the current Covid crisis that the country is dealing with, and urged people to donate and help fight this war.
"Today India is fighting something which doesn't distinguish between rich-poor, young-old, male-female. It doesn't matter what your cast is, what your religion is or where you have come from or what you do. It has hit us all equally and it has hit us hard," said Kriti.
She added, "It really breaks my heart to see people outside hospitals. Medical frontline workers are working day and night, tirelessly to save as many lives as they can."
Kriti has been helping spread awareness through her social media constantly. Through this fundraiser which aims to collect money for the ones in need of Covid relief in any way, Kriti asked everyone to help do their own bits. She urged everyone to donate whatever comes easily to them and from the heart, as she mentioned how no amount is big or small especially in a country with such a large population, everyone's little contributions could help save many lives.

The same fundraiser also saw other top names from different fields such as Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, AR Rahman, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar, Shikhar Dhawan among others.
Meanwhile, Kriti has extended support for another initiative that aims at providing a one-stop solution to locate a bed at a Covid centre. The movement, named Find A Bed, has been initiated by over 20,000 students across 160 cities. "For those covid patients who don't need hospitalisation but cannot quarantine at home, here's how you can Find A Bed! Was delighted to learn about this initiative which is the country's first information repository on beds. You can find your nearest COVID centre and also help build one! Glad to do my bit as a Cause Ambassador for an initiative that is by the youth, for the country," she wrote on social media.
As India is reeling under a huge crisis, seeing the citizens pick up the mantle and doing their bit, is nothing but heartwarming!
