To encourage the citizens of India to vote, Bollywood has come together with one of its biggest collaborations yet: an encouraging video that details the need for citizens to vote. Spearheaded by 'Shershaah' actor Sidharth Malhotra, the video also features some of Bollywood's biggest names like Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Boman Irani, and Vikrant Massey, among others.
In the video, we could see the actors appealing to the citizens of the country to cast their important votes during this Lok Sabha election. The video sees the actors saying, "Jaago Desh Ki Janta Jaago aur jaake vote karo." Further in the video, they explain the importance of casting the vote and how it will affect your life for the coming 5 years.

The noble initiative, led by some of Bollywood's biggest trendsetters, shows how they are not just content with being the talk of the town but also wish to leave a positive impact on the country. The 'Shershaah' actor even received the Prime Minister's seal of approval, as his post was shared by Narendra Modi. While resharing the reel on his Twitter, PM Modi said, "To see an industry like Bollywood come together to create awareness about the need to vote ahead of crucial 2024 elections shows just how important it is for our country's big names to set a positive impact for their audiences and lead by example."
Earlier in the morning, the power couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh also made a vote appeal as they arrived at a polling booth in Maharashtra's Latur to cast their votes during the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Riteish was dressed in a white churidar and sky blue kurta, while Genelia wore a light yellow chiffon sari with a silver border. After casting her vote, Genelia told ANI, "This is an important day and I think everyone should cast their votes today."
Riteish also urged everyone to step out and cast their vote. "I came to Latur from Mumbai to cast my vote. Everyone should come out of their houses and cast votes. Today is an important day. Everyone should definitely vote...," he said.
Riteish was accompanied by his brother and Maharashtra Congress MLA Dhiraj Deshmukh.
