She mentioned her admiration for Madhubala, stating, "I have always said this in my makeup room because I used to watch her songs at night. So at night, I have this habit till date, of watching either some old songs or some old interviews. It could be Madhubala Ji's to Smita Ji's interviews and my God! How well-spoken they were. I wish again, one of those actors were still alive. There was so much more that was left to be seen, and I wish she was here today because she's one of my most favorite actors."

After watching "The Crown" and being inspired by Elizabeth Debicki's performance as Princess Diana, Ananya Panday expressed her desire to work in a biopic. She said, "I loved how she completely became the character and yet brought so much of herself to it. I would love to do a biopic, transforming myself into someone who already existed. I would love to act in a biopic of Madhubala Ji, Zeenat Aman Ji, Waheeda [Rehman] Ji, or Rekha Ji."

In a conversation, Kriti Sanon shared her admiration for Madhubala and expressed her interest in portraying her in a biopic. "I would love to do a biopic on Madhubala. She was very pretty.
