Manish Malhotra is one of the biggest fashion designers of Bollywood. With over three decades in the movie business, the designer has made several friends in the industry. Apart from stellar costumes, Malhotra is also known to host members from the film industry for intimate get togethers at his home. On Monday evening, he played host for the evergreen Rekha and the new gen actors Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.
Manish took to his Instagram handle to shares pictures giving a glimpse of the star studded evening. "Evenings like these at home after a long day at work are relaxing and fun and even more Special with #Rekhaji," he wrote. Rekha is seen dressed in all black casual wear with a stylish air of glasses and her hair wrapped in a cloth. The diva looked stunning as ever in a casual monotone outfit. Janhvi Kapoor opted for an all-white look while her sister Khushi kept it casual in a black top and blue denim. Parineeti also went for a no make-up look and dressed casually in a black shirt and pants.

Fans took to the comment section to all praise the diva that Rekha is. "Rekha looks cooler than Kapoor girls...," wrote a user.
"I admire the way you love and take care of janhvi and khusi.. you are true friend of Sridevi," wrote another netizen in the comment section.
Another user wrote, "I love this new teen girl in town; Rekha".
Recently, Rekha in a rare interview with Vogue Arabia and featured on their cover. In her profile for Vogue, Rekha spoke about how the younger generation of actors are also aware of how she works. Even when her projects now are far and few between, she believed the new crop of actors appreciated her work ethic and the thought behind every creative endeavour she undertakes.
"Today there is an avalanche of young talent with extraordinary skills and I am thoroughly impressed by their debut performances. And it gives me great pleasure that I am here to witness their rise. It is also incredibly heartening to see how they resonate with me when so many of my colleagues have been long forgotten by this new generation. They recognize that the work I do now, very sparingly, is still done with a sense of great reverence for the craft, with gratitude, and absolute love," she said.
Having not accepted any acting role since 2014, Rekha said that she will only take up projects that satiate her soul. She also acknowledged that she has the luxury to turn roles down, she said she is a "joyful and fulfilled recluse" and will appear in public only when she is dictated by her "flow of instinct. I am so blessed to have earned the right to choose what I love. And to have the luxury to simply say no. This keeps my soul alert," she said.
