Mumbai Meri Jaan: These are the places that Jasmin Bhasin would head to on a date

Kicking of mid-day.com's special series 'Mumbai Meri Jaan' in 2023 is popular actress Jasmin Bhasin. Watch her open up about her favourite places in the city, her experience as a newcomer in Mumbai to owning a flat here and much more!

When quizzed about which are the places that she would head to on a date with partner Aly Goni, Jasmin said, "A rooftop in town or a sea-side place in Juhu."

Sharing her experience as a newcomer in Mumbai the actress reveals it wasn't the perfect start but eventually everything worked out! She recalled, "I stayed as a paying guest in a 3 room apartment, which was shared by 2-3 girls. It was in Juhu opposite JW Marriot. The first week itself I broke my ligament and the building didn't have a lift. Then I moved to another apartment and it's been beautiful. The city has given me a lot, I came with nothing and I have it all now."

Speaking about starting her career in the city she said, "I was already acting by the time I came to Mumbai but I came here to explore more options. I gave an audition and they called me. I was so amazed because I had never seen such a huge set and vanity van. For my movies down South we were given make-up rooms and it was mostly outdoor locations. I was quite fascinated and I loved it, I can never forget that ad."

The actress went on to speak about her favourite studios and where she used to shop when she was on a budget.
