Neena Gupta has been actively using social media to interact with her fans and share pictures and videos from her vacations, work and a lot more. The veteran actor, who enjoys a large fanbase, was in Bareilly recently for an undisclosed reason. While waiting at the airport, she was denied access to the reserved lounge. Sharing a video narrating the incident, Neena brought people's attention to the matter.
She said in her video, "Main Bareilly airport se bol rahi hoon. Ye reserved lounge hain jaha jaake ekbar baithe the par aaj mujhe allow nahi kiya. Ye reserved lounge VIP ke liye hoti hain toh mujhe laga ki main VIP hoon par abhi tak VIP nahi bani, Aur bohot mehnat karni padegi VIP banne ke liye. Toh, acha hain iss bahane mehnat karungi VIP banne ki. Thank you so much. (I'm at the Bareilly airport. There's a reserved lounge here where I once went but they didn't allow me to use it. The reserved lounge is for VIPs and I thought I was one too but I don't think I'm a VIP yet. I'll have to work harder to become a VIP. It's a good thing to happen as I'm motivated to work towards becoming one. Thank you so much.)"
Workwise, Neena's web series, Charlie Chopra And The Mystery Of Solang Valley released on SonyLIV in the last week of September. She shared the screen space with veterans like Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak and others. Wamiqa Gabbi played the titular character. Neena also featured in a short film from Lust Stories 2. Sne played Mrunal Thakur's paternal grandmother who would give her sex-life advice.
Neena will also be seen in Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino and the romantic comedy Pachhattar Ka Chhora. The actress is currently shooting for the third season of the acclaimed web series, Panchayat. She plays the role of the female 'sarpanch' in the show also starring Jitendra Kumar and Raghbir Yadav among others.
Speaking of her career, the actress asked people for work on social media in 2017. She shared a picture and wrote, "I live in Mumbai and working, am a good actor, looking for good parts to play."
