Nimrat Kaur has kicked off the shoot for her next film Happy Teachers' Day in Pune on Wednesday. The actor was also recently spotted at the Mumbai office of the film's production house for the muhurat puja.
Thrilled to be in the Queen of the Deccan, Kaur says, "I am excited to be in Pune and shooting this film. Incidentally, Pune is where I first went to school. I was in Holloway Primary School, College Of Military Engineering Pune here in my first grade." The experience is rewarding for Kaur, who is excited to tell a story about teachers in a city that laid the foundation of her life. "It's interesting coming back here with a theme like, Happy Teachers' Day, which is a story that revolves around the education world. I am looking forward to the journey as it begins", added Kaur.

Presented by Dinesh Vijan, 'Happy Teachers Day', that also features Radhika Madan in a pivotal role, will take the audience on an unusual ride with the portrayal of the struggles of teachers. The film, directed by Mikhil Musale of Made in China (2019) fame, is set to hit the screens on Teachers' Day 2023.
