On Independence Day, first looks of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor from 'Fighter' unveiled

On the occasion of Independence Day, the team of the film 'Fighter' took to social media to share the first look of their lead actors- Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor. The Siddharth Anand directorial is India's first aerial action film with the leads playing airforce officers.

Giving a glimpse into the Spirit of FIghter, the team unveiled the first-look motion poster of the three leads. In the motion poster, Deepika, Hrithik, and Anil are seen walking on a runway in their uniforms.

Deepika Padukone took to her social media to share the motion poster and wrote, "A salute to our glorious nation.Happy Independence Day!🇮🇳 #Fighter in theatres on the eve of India's 75th Republic Day.

Carrying along the true spirit of Independence Day, this announcement has indeed been a treat to relish. After WAR and Pathaan, Siddharth Anand is gearing up for yet another grand release with 'Fighter'.

In May this year, the film wrapped a major portion of the final schedule. After this stint, it will be time for Roshan and Padukone to strap on their dancing shoes, as the team will shoot two songs. The source adds, "The director has allotted about five days for the numbers, following which there will be a short five-day schedule in Mumbai. In October, Siddharth plans to can some more sequences in the interiors of a fighter plane. These scenes will be VFX-heavy. The post-production will happen simultaneously." After Pathaan, the filmmaker is keen to up the ante with Fighter. He is working at a breakneck speed, intending to wrap up the shoot by November, well in time for its January 2024 release.

Fighter, which rolled in Assam last November, before travelling to Kashmir, Hyderabad and then Mumbai, traces the journey of Roshan's character Shamsher Pathania aka Patty as he strives to become the country's best fighter pilot.

Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, 'Fighter' is directed by Siddharth Anand and will star Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor. The film is set to release on 25th January 2024
