Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, who was last seen in âLove Again' and âCitadel,' expressed gratitude to India's entertainment capital, Mumbai, for extending a warm welcome to her husband Nick Jonas. The Jonas Brothers performed for the first time in India and served a delectable musical treat to their fans.
Nick took to the stage along with his brothers Kevin and Joe at the second edition of the multi-genre music festival Lollapalooza India in Mumbai. The crowd at the festival went crazy when Kevin called Nick Jonas âJiju' for the Indian fans of the singer-songwriter.
Several videos have been widely going viral on the internet, showing overenthusiastic fans going gaga over the star as they showered him with chants of âjiju' throughout the concert.
Now, after the videos from the last night went viral, Priyanka Chopra has decided to thank fans for the welcome they have given to Nick and his brothers. Talking to her Instagram stories, the âdesi girl' shared a video from the concert as fans cheered up for the singer while screaming out loud, âJiju.' Reacting to it, Nick Jonas says: "Jiju! I love you all so much."

The clips made Priyanka Chopra emotional, who than thanks Mumbai for the warm welcome to Jonas brothers. the actress while sharing the video, wrote, "My heart" (accompanied by a red heart and face holding tears emoji), "thank you, Mumbai." She also tagged the official Instagram handles of Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas, and Jonas Brothers.
Prior to the set, the organizers played 'Galla Goodiyaan' from the 2015 film 'Dil Dhadakane Do,' which starred Nick's wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The Mahalaxmi Race Course turned into a captivating haven for all music enthusiasts as global icons and pop sensations, Jonas Brothers, did not âHesitate' before âBurnin' Up' the newly revamped BUDX stage.
As the band took the stage, Nick Jonas addressed fans laying bare their excitement around performing in India for the first time ever, while jokingly reminiscing about his own sangeet performance.
The trio kept the crowds singing along in unison as they rolled one hit after the other, including âS.O.S.,' âWaffle House,' âCake By The Ocean,' âSucker,' and more. The highlight of the act was when Indian rapper King joined Nick Jonas on stage to groove to his chart-topper âMaan Meri Jaan.'
