Raksha Bandhan was celebrated today and it called for the Pataudi family's reunion. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence was where the celebration took place. The actor's sisters Saba Ali Khan Pataudi and Soha Ali Khan were in attendance. However, it was Sara Ali Khan, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan who stole the show.
The Pataudi siblings and cousins celebrated Raksha Bandhan with joy and fervour. Sara shared pictures with her family members on Instagram. Her caption read, "Happy Raksha Bandhan." Ibrahim and his younger brothers Taimur and Jeh wore identical black kurtas and white pyjamas for the festival. Sara was dressed in a printed peplum kurti and sharara. Inaaya looked adorable in a pink lehenga. The sisters had applied similar black bindi. In one of the family pictures, Inaaya can be seen seated on Sara's lap.
Kareena shared more pictures from the celebration and wrote, "Family Ties." The actress posed for a picture with Saif, Ibrahim and Sara. She looked pretty in an ivory-coloured kurti and wide-legged pyjama. Saif wore a red kurta.
Sara and Ibrahim celebrated Saif's birthday on August 16 at his residence with Kareena, Taimur and Jeh. Sharing pictures from the party, the Kedarnath actress wrote, "Happiest Birthday to my dearest Abba."
Back in 2021, Sara said on Feet Up With The Stars Season 3 that Taimur had once called her 'gol'. "He called me gol once and it became like funny but he didn't call me gol he was just saying gol in general. I don't think he is body-shaming me, which has been conducted as a meaning," she shared.
Talking about her brother Ibrahim's debut, Sara said in an interview with Film Companion, "You know, he just finished shooting his first film as an actor, which I can't believe. Yes, he has and whenever he comes home, whether its is from school or from shoot, we both have this extremely loving and like, this attitude towards him and that is when I realised, I do have the heart of my mother. Because we do treat Ibrahim very similarly."
