Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his film 'Animal' with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Going by the promos, the actor will be seen in a mean avatar in the film that is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 1. Apart from 'Animal', another much talked about project of the actor is Ramayana. While the film has not been officially announced, it has already created a major buzz. Reportedly, the film directed by Nitesh Tiwari will see Ranbir as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Raavan.
While it was being reported that Ramayana will go on floors next year, Ranbir Kapoor has revealed that nothing is "finalised'' yet. In a recent Zoom interaction, the actor shared, "Ramayana is such a big project, where a lot of work is needed behind it. Nothing has been finalised. I hope it is done soon. As of now, I have been hearing a lot of subjects but nothing (is locked)".
Another project that Kapoor has been reported to be a part of is the Kishore Kumar biopic helmed by Anurag Basu. "Even the Kishore Kumar biopic that Anurag Basu has been working on for many years. I am going to hear the script by the end of this month. But there's nothing that I have liked yet." Basu and Kapoor had previously worked together in the film 'Jagga Jasoos'. That film was also in news for taking years to complete. While it underperformed at the box office , the film eventually found its audience among film lovers.
The actor also spoke about the much anticipated sequel of Brahmastra, "So Brahmastra 2 is heavy into writing. We are working on it all the time, it was just last week that Ayan narrated the film to me. Ayan has gone ten times bigger than part 1, his idea, his thought, the characters. He is working on War 2 right now, so the plan is to finish War 2 by mid-next year and we start shooting hopefully by end of next year, or beginning of next to next year. But definitely there's a lot of work which is already happening on the film in the writing process."

During the same interaction, Ranbir Kapoor also revealed to his fans that he is going through a lifestyle change, which involves quitting smoking. "For Animal, I had shaved my hair! For the last scene, I had done that. So now I am growing my hair. Since I am not working on any film, I am eating a lot, not following any diet. I have changed my entire lifestyle. I have quit smoking, so I am eating a lot of chocolates."
