On Saturday, superstar Salman Khan attended an international award event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is Salman's second invitation to the Joy Awards. Several images and videos of Salman at this year's Joy Awards have gone viral on social media.
In one of the photos, Salman was seen posing with Sir Anthony Hopkins, the star of 'Hannibal' and 'The Silence of the Lambs.'
The 'Kick' star looked dashing in a purple shirt and a violet-grey suit, completed with a mustache and beard. Another viral video shows the 'Dabangg' star delivering an award to senior Egyptian actress Essad Youniss on stage.
Salman received the 'Personality of the Year' award at the event in 2022. This year, he has been asked by the dignitaries to be a special guest from India at the award ceremony. Alia Bhatt, also attended the event in Riyadh. Meanwhile, Salman is enjoying the success of his film 'Tiger 3.'
Salman stated, "The Tiger franchise has received unanimous adoration from the first film, whether it is shown in theaters, on satellite, or on streaming! So, it's great to watch how the third installment of 'Tiger 3' became a smash in theaters and is now available on streaming!"
He continued, "I'm in direct communication with my audience via social media, and I can witness the outpouring of affection now that 'Tiger 3' is available on OTT. As an actor, my first and exclusive responsibility is to truly amuse people, and I'm delighted that 'Tiger 3' is being loved by people all over the world."
Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, 'Tiger 3' was released in theatres on November 12, 2023. It is now streaming on Prime Video. 'Tiger 3' has raked in over Rs 472 crore gross worldwide. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
Interestingly, it also has cameo appearances of Shah Rukh Khan and a post-credit scene featuring Hrithik Roshan. Just like the two previous installments - 'Ek Tha Tiger'and 'Tiger Zinda Hai' - the film focuses on a new mission involving RA&W agent Tiger (Salman) and ISI agent Zoya (Katrina).
Speaking of Salman's upcoming projects, he is yet to announce his new film. However, as per the reports, he may headline a film titled 'The Bull.'
