Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn took off on a chartered flight from Mumbai to Baramati to shoot for Mayday. Devgn's directorial venture was shot over two days in Pune district.

A chopper sequence was shot near Baramati airport featuring Big B. Line producer Shaukat Shaikh, who has been managing Devgn's production house's outdoor shoots since Omkara (2006), had kept the shoot hush-hush to avoid a crowd. The former shared, "I first met Ajay during the shoot of 'Omkara' and have been in touch since then. I have handled many outdoor shoots for projects under his production company. He along with Amitabh sir was here to shoot for the Baramati schedule of their upcoming film 'Mayday'. It was a two-day schedule and we completed it successfully."

Talking about Big B, Shaikh shared that he was in awe of him ever since he met him during the shoot of "Khakee". He said, "He is a brilliant performer and I have watched 'Agneepath' over 40 times just for him. It is my all time favourite movie. Amitabh sir is a legend, and meeting him is always a delight."

"Though I met him first during the shoot of 'Khakee', this was the first time I got a picture clicked with him. He is such a humble and polite man," he added.

Amitabh Bachchan on Saturday shared a picture looking all dapper. In the picture, the 78-year-old actor was holding a glass of lemonade in his hand. He looked dapper in a black jacket paired along with matching sunglasses. He captioned the picture as "... neembu paani dhoop mein .. chashma jacket shoot mein ..!!"

Fans of the actor flooded the comments section of his tweet with adjectives like gorgeous, amazing, dashing, super cool, and killer looks.

MayDay is pitched as an edge-of-the-seat drama that reunites Big B and Ajay Devgn, who have worked together in Major Sahab, Khakee, Satyagraha and Hindustan Ki Kasam. The film also has Rakul Preet Singh in the cast.
