âKick', that blockbuster from 2014, marked the first for a lot of people involved. It was Salman Khan's first 200-crore juggernaut, first directorial of ace producer Sajid Nadiadwala, and the first legitimate gargantuan success for Jacqueline Fernandez. It was also in a way, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's maiden hardcore potboiler.
On July 25, it completed 7 years and the date gave a nostalgic rush to Fernandez. On her Instagram account, she shared a behind-the-scene picture from the sets of the film where she could be seen watching a shot on the monitor along with Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. If you can recall, this is the scene where all the key characters assemble under one roof and what follows is a chase sequence on the streets of Warsaw.
The makers have announced the sequel but there's no confirmation on the release date. Khan will reprise his role of Devi Lal Singh aka Devil. Fernandez will reunite too. It's also not clear whether Randeep Hooda will be back in action or not. One of the most entertaining aspects of the actioner was Siddiqui's erratic, eccentric laugh that he revealed once was inspired by Manoj Bajpayee's eeriness in âAks'.
Coming back to Fernandez, she has as many as five films coming up apart grom this sequel. She has âBachchan Pandey', âCirKus', âVikram Rona', âBhoot Police', and âAttack'.
Fernandez appealed to her fans and followers to spread love, kindness and sympathy at a time when the nation is battling the deadly second wave. "Stay strong, stay safe, stay healthy, help others when you can. Spread love and kindness. We are all battling the pandemic in our own ways, let's be understanding and sympathisze with all," she shared in an Instagram post.
Fernandez has taken to the ground in these grim times in an effort to provide relief to people in distress because of the pandemic. The actress makes an effort to share and create stories of kindness with people, spreading love to all and helping others.
The actress wrote, "Stay strong, stay safe, stay healthy, help others when you can, spread love and kindness always!! We are all battling the pandemic in our own ways, let's be understanding and sympathize with all.. let's be there for one another! Keep sharing your stories of kindness with us and help us spread the word of love and unity @jf.yolofoundation [sic]"
