Shefali Shah with husband Vipul Amrutlal Shah and son
Over the weekend, Shefali Shah turned a year lovelier. She donned fairy lights as a quirky birthday crown. Shah was keen to have a sparkling time at the low-key celebrations at home. The actor posted a picture with hubby filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah and family, and wrote, "My boys... who I force to do âMy birthday' âMy way'!! But my way was incomplete without my Son shine...." If the pictures are any indication, she sure did.
Shefali Shah's phenomenal performance in the recently released Ajeeb Daastaans is being widely appreciated. She shared screen space with Manav Kaul and their story has been liked by the majority of the audiences. She featured in Kayoze Irani's story, 'Ankahi' from 'Ajeeb Daastaans', co-starring Manav Kaul and Tota Roy Chowdhary. Irani's film revolves around love, want and sign language. Shah will next be seen in 'Darlings' with Alia Bhatt and Vijay Varma, 'Human', 'Delhi Crime 2' and 'Doctor G' alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. In 'Doctor G' she will be playing a gynaecologist. Interestingly, 'Human', the medical thriller that she shot for till March, also has her playing a doctor.
The actress recently directed a short film 'Someday'. The film had made it to the 51st annual USA Film Festival's International Short Film and Video competition. 'Someday' is a story of two women, united by the umbilical cord and separated by a door.
