Shehnaaz Gill's film 'Thank You For Coming' hit the theatres last Friday. While the actor has been soaking in all the love poured in for the movie, she has now been hospitalised. The actress has come down with a case of food infection and is currently recovering at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital. Reportedly, she had fallen ill during the extensive promotions for the film. The film's producer Rhea Kapoor was spotted paying her a visit on Monday night.
Soon after news of Shehnaaz Gill's hospitalisation surfaced, fans expressed their concern and wished for her speedy recovery. "Get well soon.. take care." Another commented, "Tu sherni hai humari (you are our lioness)." Rhea Kapoor was spotted by the paparazzi when she stepped out of the hospital after visiting Gill. Rhea waved to the paparazzi before leaving.

Meanwhile, Shehnaaz had gone live on Instagram from her hospital bed to give an update to all her fans. In the video, she was seen lying on the bed dressed in hospital clothes. "Dekho time sabka aata hai, sabka jata hai. Mere saath bhi vahi hua hai. Fir aaega thode din baad. Guys, I'm fine now. Mai theek nhi thi. Mujhey infection hogaya tha. Maine na sandwich kha liya tha. Infection hui hai mujhey food infection. (Everyone's time comes and goes and this has happened in my case as well. It will come again. Guys, I'm fine now. I wasn't well. I had a sandwich, wasn't well. I have a food infection.)" she is heard saying in the video.
Actor Anil Kapoor, who worked with Gill, in 'Thank You For Coming' attended the live session and commented, "Namastey Shehnaaz ji. You are like Mumtaz⦠the next Mumtaz. Sab dekh rahe hain, appreciate kar rahe hain (all are watching the film and appreciating it)."
'Thank You For Coming' follows the story of Kanika Kapoor (Bhumi Pednekar), a single woman in her 30s, and her quest for true love and pleasure. Gill plays the role of Rushi Kalra in the film. The coming-of-age comedy is directed by Karan Boolani from a script penned by Radhika Anand and Prashasti Singh. Actors Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila and Shibani Bedi star in pivotal roles in the film
