Shraddha Kapoor at Jio World Plaza inauguration
The opening of Jio World Plaza was a star-studded affair. The biggest names in the film industry graced the gala night. From Sha Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh to Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rashmika Mandanna and several others, the inauguration was stars galore. After the red carpet, an event was organised within the premise.
Celebrities took centre stage at the event. Shraddha Kapoor serenaded the audience with her singing. The actress crooned her grand-aunt Asha Bhosle's iconic song, Aao Huzoor from the film Kismat (1961). Mesmerising celebrities including Nita and Mukesh Ambani, who are the founders of the Jio World Plaza, she delivered a rendition that will be remembered for the longest time.

Recently, at a Navratri 2023 event in Mumbai, Shraddha crooned the song Chahun Main Ya Naa from her blockbuster film, Aashiqui 2. The crowd present at Bharatiya Janata Party's Marathi dandiya event in Dadar cheered and clapped for the actress.
While Shraddha has made a mark for herself as an actress, she has showcased her melodious singing skills in her own films including Ek Villain, Haider and ABCD 2. She impressed music aficionados with her song, Galliyan which received widespread praise. Shraddha lent her voice to the song Sab Tera from Baaghi with Armaan Malik. She was behind the mic once again for ABCD 2 as she was a part of the reprised version of Bezubaan Phir Se. Shraddha played a singer in Rock On 2. While acting in the central role, she also lent her voice to songs like Tere Mere Dil and Chal Udd Ja Re.
Workwise, Shraddha was last seen in the lead with Ranbir Kapoor in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Her upcoming film is Stree 2. The Dinesh Vijan-produced horror-comedy also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee. It is currently on floors. The team commenced the shoot earlier this year in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh. Sharing an announcement, Shraddha wrote on Instagram, "Ek baar phir Chanderi mein phailega aatank! Stree 2 filming begins! Aa rahi hai woh- August 2024!"
According to reports, Shraddha will be starring with Kartik Aaryan in Kabir Khan's Chandu Champion. The film went on floors recently. The actress is yet to be confirmed as the female lead. Chandu Champion is a sports drama based on an extraordinary real-life story of a sportsman and his spirit of never giving up.
