The 2018 film 'Dhadak, a remake of the hit film 'Sairaat' marked the Hindi film debut of actors Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter. Now, six years later, Zee Studios, Dharma Productions, and Cloud 9 Pictures have released details about the highly anticipated film, âDhadak 2'. Starring the incredibly talented Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in lead roles, the film challenges the conventional love story and societal norms.
Directed by the proficient Shazia Iqbal, the movie explores barriers of class and status stitched in the minds of societies, underscoring a narrative of love that can never be fulfilled. Or can it? The film follows Siddhant's character as he navigates a love story that breaks through societal expectations and class barriers.

'Dhadak 2', produced by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions, and Cloud 9 Pictures, features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the film is slated for release on November 22, 2024.
Siddhant Chaturvedi was last seen in the film 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan' co-starring Adarsh Gourav and Ananya Panday. The film that was released directly on Netflix received a lot of praise for its plot, treatment of urban issues and performances.
Triptii Dimri, on the other hand, was last seen in a small role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal'. She was cast opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the scenes she was a part of. Post the film's release, Triptii was on the receiving end of praises for her performance and even got the tag of the new 'National Crush'.
The actress will be next seen in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' opposite Kartik Aaryan.
'Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the third part of the hit franchise also stars Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles and is all set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2024.
Vidya Balan essayed the role of Manjulika in the 2007 psychological horror-comedy film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'.
The actress also has several other projects in her kitty including 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' alongside RajKummar Rao and 'Bad Newz,' opposite Vicky Kaushal.
