Sound check: Armaan Malik’s new single

Worth your time: Yes

Given that his past two English singles have helped him clinch the MTV EMA award, it's no surprise that Armaan Malik chose to stick to a genre that has served him well in the past. But what is worth noticing is the diversity that Malik has presented, even in his romantic numbers, across the years. If Control was best suited for the clubs, You's ballad-like undertone made it apt for a variety of situations. His latest love song, Sleepless nights is in stark contrast to both these offerings. A perfect summer song (that releases in the monsoon), it is peppy and groovy, as it celebrates lovers who are simply happy to be in one another's company.
Sleepless nights will certainly be on music listeners' playlists, however, whether or not it matches the magic of You is questionable. Nonetheless, it has all the elements that are reminiscent of an Armaan Malik-number!
