In the year 2020, when lyricist Javed Akhtar turned 75, he hosted a 70s themes birthday party which was attended by several A-listers of Bollywood. Many of the celebrities had turned up as their favourite Bollywood stars for the retro-themed party. Now, three years later, Shabana Azmi has dug up and shared an old video from the party.
In the video shared by Shabana, film producer Boney Kapoor is seen grooving to the song 'Mere Yaar Shabba Khair'. He is seen dressed as Shammi Kapoor from the song. The iconic song can be seen playing in the background on a projector screen as Boney tried to recreate the famous steps.
"Not to miss out #Boney Kapoor at the same 70s party on Javed's birthday doing mere yaar shabba khair ..," wrote Shabana sharing the video. In the video, Azmi and Aamir Khan's ex-wife Kiran Rao are also seen grooving with Boney Kapoor.
