Sonam Kapoor shares video of her transformation
Sonam Kapoor is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood, having showcased her acting prowess in brilliant performances in films like "Raanjhanaa" and "Saawariya." The actress consistently motivates new moms on how to work out and regain a sense of self. Today is no exception, as Sonam once again captivates us. She took to her Instagram to share a video flaunting her body.
On her Instagram stories, Sonam Kapoor posted a quick video of herself posing in front of a mirror, seemingly in her bedroom. In the video, she confidently showcased her toned tummy and beautiful curves. Alongside the video, Sonam wrote a fun and catchy caption that reads, "What a wow... 20 kgs down... 6 more to go."
Sonam has been vocal about her postpartum journey. A couple of months ago, the actress shared pictures of herself in a beautiful lehenga. In the post, she discussed her journey, revealing that it took her almost 16 months to feel like herself again. She wrote, "It's taken me 16 months to feel like myself again. Slowly steadily without any crash diets and crazy workouts just consistent self-care and baby care. I'm not there yet but almost where I want to be.. still very very grateful for my body and how incredible it has been. Being a woman is a wondrous thing."
Sonam and Anand Ahuja tied the knot on May 8, 2018, in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony. In March 2022, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together. Sonam gave birth to her son, Vayu, on August 20, 2022.
On the work front, Sonam made her acting comeback after a maternity break with the film "Blind," directed by Shome Makhija. The film was released on Jio Cinema last year. According to reports, the actress has signed two new projects.
Talking about them, Sonam said, "I took two years off as I was pregnant and then wanted to take some time off with my son. Two years are not done yet and I have signed onto two projects - one show and one film that I will start working on. It will be released in another year because that is how films work. Then my idea is to do two pieces of content every year, that's it, not more because I want to spend time with my family as well."
