Hrithik Roshan
Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, who wowed the audience with his charm in the 2001 film âKabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghamâ¦' almost wore a âgirly t-shirt' for the song âDeewana Hai Dekho' that was filmed as a college sequence between him and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
If you watch the song on YouTube, skip to 54 seconds and you will notice Hrithik walking into the scene wearing a black t-shirt, jacket, and red trousers. The anecdote here is that he initially wore a different outfit that made him look âgirly'.
A video surfaced on social media shows him conversing with a supposedly British woman about the same.

The woman asks Hrithik, "What are you doing in the scene?" to which he says, "Dancing. No, I'm just walking. She (Kareena) is dancing." The woman then asks if Kareena is his girlfriend in the scene to which Hrithik replies, "Not yet. Just about to become." The woman then asks, "Just by the way you walk? Just by the way you're wearing that girly t-shirt?"
Hrithik immediately changes his mind, and takes in the criticism only to say, "Actually that's why I'm not wearing it now."
The woman then explains, "I can imagine that shirt on a girl. That's all I'm saying. Not on any girl. A butch girl." For those unversed, a butch girl means a woman whose gender expression and traits present as typically 'masculine'.
Helmed by Karan Johar, the film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles.
