Pragya Kapoor’s father passes away due to Covid-19 complications, Abhishek Kapoor shares post

Jayant K Yadav, father of actress and producer Pragya Kapoor, breathed his last on May 6. He passed away due to complications arising out of Covid-19. Her husband and filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor shared the unfortunate news of his father-in-law's demise on Instagram account.

Kapoor wrote, "@pragyakapoor_ and I lost her father today to post covid complications. He was a gracious kind man and a loving father to 3 children. Our family, like the rest of the country, is going through very trying times. Lets pray these days are gone soon. Hari Om." [SIC]

Vaani Kapoor commented on the post- "So sorry for your loss. Sending you guys love." Twinkle Khanna wrote- "So sorry to hear that." Amrita Arora wrote- "So sorry, deepest condolences." Tabu expressed- "My condolences Gattu.." Ayushmann Khurrana, who collaborates with Kapoor on his next, commented- "Condolences. May God give you guys strength."
