Zinda Banda ho toh aisa: Anand Mahindra praises Jawan's first song, gets reply from Shah Rukh Khan

The first song from Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, titled Zinda Banda, released on July 31 and broke records. The superstar's energetic and spectacular moves and charisma took over the internet in no time. While the Hindi version is titled Zinda Banda, it released in Tamil as Vandha Edam and as Dhumme Dhulipelaa in Telugu. Composed by Anirudh, the song features Shah Rukh in a larger-than-life avatar.

Shah Rukh fans are clearly in awe of their superstar. However, his dance moves have also impressed Mahindra Group Chairman, Anand Mahindra. Sharing a clip from Zinda Banda on Twitter, he praised Shah Rukh for his energy and the efforts he put into the song. "This hero is 57 years old?? Clearly his ageing process defies gravitational forces! He's 10X as alive as most people. #ZindaBanda ho to aisa…," Anand's tweet read.

Anand received a reply from Shah Rukh. He reacted, "@anandmahindra Life is so short and fast sir, just trying to keep up with it. Try and entertain as many whatever it takes….laugh..cry…shake…or fly…hopefully make some to swim with the stars….dream for a few moments of joy."

Sharing a glimpse of Zinda Banda on his Instagram page, Shah Rukh wrote, "Usoolon par jahan aanch aaye, takrana zaroori hai, Jo zinda ho toh phir zinda nazar aana zaroori hai! When principles are at stake, one must fight, This battle is what makes you alive! I thank Wasim Barelvi sahab with all my heart for letting us use this beautiful couple with a minor change."

Zinda Banda is choreographed by Shobi. Irshad Kamil penned the lyrics of the song which is also sung by Anirudh. The peppy dance number also features Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra.

Jawan, directed by Atlee, is a Red Chillies Entertainment film. The action thriller is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. It marks Nayanthara's Bollywood debut. Vijay Sethupathi, Sunil Grover and Ridhi Dogra in important roles. Deepika Padukone will be seen in a special yet crucial role. Jawan hits the silver screens globally on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film is renowned South filmmaker Atlee's Hindi directorial debut.
