Left Right Left: This was a unique concept back then when the show was introduced. Left Right Left starring Rajeev Khandelwal was based on Kanchanjunga Military Academy, where soldiers are trained to serve the nation.
Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin: Coming to the 2000s, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin was one popular show of the era which was based on a Mexican show. The show had a cliched Plain Jane Jassi getting a makeover and becoming beautiful and winning over the heart of the man she loved. Nevertheless, the show was popular and won several awards.
