Talking about his film, Happy Hardy and Heer, Himesh Reshammiya said, "I'm very happy with all the love that Happy Hardy and Heer is getting from the audience. I'm very proud of the product and very confident that the film will set new trends by the grace of God. Ranu ji has sung the song beautifully and I hope the audience loves it and enjoys it as much as we did."

Himesh Reshammiya seems to be in love with Ranu Mondal's voice and offered her two more songs, Aadat and Aashiqui Mein Teri 2.0 with her.

Ranu Mondal — who became an Internet sensation after a video of her singing Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai, at the Ranaghat railway station went viral last month — has lent her voice to two songs in mentor Himesh Reshammiya's upcoming film, Happy Hardy And Heer.

Ranu Mondal in an interview with mid-day said, "I never gave up hope. Even during the worst phase of my life, singing kept me going. I didn't imagine that I would get such a huge platform, but I had complete faith in my voice."

Ask her if recording the first number was an intimidating experience, and she says assuredly, "When I wore the headphones for the first time, it made me even more confident. I used to listen to songs of Lataji [Mangeshkar], Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar and keep learning."
