The anthology comprises four different thrillers featuring some of the most talented actors in the industry including Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, Mrunal Thakur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Surekha Sikri, and many others.

Khushi Kapoor, who is back from New York, opted for a pretty floral outfit for the special screening Ghost Stories, starring Janhvi Kapoor and others.
"So Netflix is going to put this out at midnight 12 am on January 1, bringing your new year with a scream," Karan Johar said in an earlier chat with IANS.

Ghost Stories is an Indian anthology film consisting of four short films. It is the third collaboration for Netflix and RSVP after Love Per Square Foot and Lust Stories.

"We ventured into a space that none had been in before. I really liked making the film," Zoya Akhtar also stated. Dibakar Bannerjee explained the premise of the project by saying "it is about things that are not really human."

Janhvi Kapoor also said in an interview with IANS, "I have recently done a short film for Netflix and I had a very enjoyable experience working on it. It feels good to work in a short film because mostly we do a film shoot over 50 to 60 days."

"It becomes very monotonous after a certain point. In a short film, however, you go in with a lot of energy and the shoot is over quickly, without distractions," Janhvi Kapoor further added.

In the Zoya Akhtar segment of Ghost Stories, Janhvi features alongside Vijay Varma and Raghubir Yadav. The quartet that directs Ghost Stories has collaborated twice before -- on Bombay Talkies (2013) and Lust Stories (2018).
