Sonali Bendre revealed that she was battling high-grade cancer exactly a year ago. The 43-year old actress has never kept her transformation a secret and has been actively sharing her life while fighting cancer.

Rakul Preet Singh was snapped giggling and having a fun conversation on the phone when clicked by the shutterbugs in Juhu, Mumbai. The actress sported a white top, which she paired with high-waist denim for the outing.

Speaking of her work commitments, Rakul Preet Singh's last Bollywood outing was De De Pyaar De, which also starred Ajay Devgn and Tabu. She will next be seen in Marjaavaan opposite Sidharth Malhotra. This will be her second film with Sidharth, after Aiyaary.

For the unversed, Rakul Preet Singh is also part of Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 2. She will be seen as the love interest of Siddharth, who plays the grandson of the vigilante Senapathi and son of Chandru, both characters were played by Haasan in the first part.

After these successful openings, Shraddha Kapoor will be next seen in Street Dancer 3D, along with Nora Fatehi and Varun Dhawan.

Tahira Kashyap, who fought her battle with the big c disease, said in an interview with mid-day: "I never treated my body, mind and soul as one entity. I always thought physical health was important, and mental toh kuch hota hi nahin hai. So, I exercised a lot."

"But I think [the cancer] was a manifestation of the negativity that I had been harbouring. Had I gone to a doctor, I would have been declared clinically depressed," Tahira Kashyap further added.
