As Marjaavaan opened up in theatres this Friday, the makers hosted a special screening for Bollywood celebrities at a popular studio in Juhu, Mumbai. Among the attendees included special guests from Riteish Deshmukh's family - his mother Vaishali Deshmukh, wife Genelia D'Souza, brother Dheeraj Deshmukh and sister-in-law Deepshika Deshmukh. The Deshmukh's perfect family picture was the star attraction at the screening.
Riteish Deshmukh portrays a vertically-challenged antagonist, named Vishnu, in Marjaavaan. His avatar is already grabbing attention with kohl-lined eyes and a Trishul-shaped tikka on his forehead. Riteish is pitched against Sidharth Malhotra in the movie. Sidharth will be seen as a rowdy, angry Raghu who walks around with a match-stick in his mouth and spouts some smart one-liners. Reminds us a lot about their clash in Ek Villain.
Sidharth too graced the screening with his parents - father Sunil Malhotra and mother Rimma Malhotra.
The movie is directed by Milap Zaveri, who is known for helming hits like Mastizaade and Satyameva Jayate. Seems Sidharth is giving the audience a glimpse of his character by engaging in a fun banter with Zaveri.
Actor-turned-producer Jackky Bhagnani also made an appearance at the screening. Apart from Riteish and Sidharth, Marjaavaan also stars Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles.
Bhushan Kumar, who is producing this action drama graced the screening with his wife Divya Khosla Kumar. The husband-wife duo twinned in their black and cream outfits.
Fatima Sana Shaikh and her Dangal casting director Mukesh Chhabra also attended the special screening of Marjaavaan. On the work front, Sanya will be next seen in Bhoot Police, a horror-comedy in 3D. She will be sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan and Ali Fazal.
Popular actor and host Maniesh Paul also attended the screening. Maniesh is currently hosting a weekend television show Movie Masti with Manish Paul.
Shaad Randhawa also graced the screening. The Aashiqui 2 will be playing the role of DCP Vijayvargiya in Marjaavaan. For the screening, the actor-director duo twinned in their black outfits.
Black also seems to be the favourite colour of Sajid Khan. The producer-director graced the screening in a black kurta and blue jeans.
Also gracing the screening in a black dress was Sonakshi Sinha. The dress, along with a black sling bag and pink shrug perfected her attire.
