The actress, who made her Bollywood debut with Jo Hum Chhahien, looked ethereal in a red and aqua green coloured velvet lehenga for the wedding ceremony. She completed her look with authentic Punjabi jewellery. Doesn't she make a gorgeous bride?
Speaking of Gurrick Mann, the groom was also seen wearing Punjabi Pathani for the wedding ceremony. His mustard yellow embellished kurta, with an aqua blue turban, were a perfect match with the bride's ethnic wear.
Well, many of her fans aren't aware that the actress, born in Mumbai September 13, 1990, belongs to a family from Mundian Jattan, Punjab. Simran Kaur Mundi started her schooling from Delhi Public School, Madhya Pradesh and later, completed her studies from the boarding school in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
Later, Simran Kaur Mundi completed her Bio-Technology degree from the Holkar College of Science Indore in 2007. After her graduation, the model-turned-actress moved back to Mumbai and worked with Fame Cinemas in Andheri – as a guest relations executive, where she managed bookings for professionals from the film and media industry.
For the uninitiated, Simran Kaur Mundi represented India at Miss Universe 2008 held in Vietnam and placed in various preliminary events. After entering the list of top five finalists at the Best in Swimsuit round, she was the group winner at the national costume award.
After winning the Femina Miss India Universe title in 2008, she started modelling professionally. There was no turning back for Simran Kaur Mundi, as she ruled the ramp in 2011-2014 like no man's business!
Simran Kaur Mundi, later on, went ahead to bag the role in the films Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and many more!
Speaking of her marriage with Gurrick Mann, the close-knit affair was attended by a few of Simran and Gurickk's friends including Diljit Dosanjh, Poppy Jabal, Badshah and Sonnalli Seygall, and her pals also shared some pictures on social media.
