Vidya Balan recently shared her character poster on her Instagram and wrote, "Presenting to you Tara Shinde - A scientist whose home science game is unparalleled." Vidya wore a blue wrapped around top and matching pants.

South actress Nithya Menen, who is making her Bollywood debut with Mission Mangal, wore an asymmetrical top and denim for the promotional event. The actress also shared her character poster from the film and wrote, "Presenting to you, Varsha Pillai - The woman behind the name M.O.M: Mars Orbiter Mission."

Taapsee Pannu wore a trending saree for the promotional interviews of Mission Mangal at a plush hotel in Juhu. "And here she is Kritika Aggarwal - A passionate Comms Specialist who loves her job. Catch this simple, loving woman in the new #MissionMangal Trailer today," wrote Taapsee as she shared her character poster on Instagram.

Kirti Kulhari, who was last seen in Four More Shots, will also be seen in Mission Mangal. She too shared her character poster on her social media and wrote, "Let me introduce you to Neha Siddiqui - A scientist who believes that science has no religion."

John Abraham, who will be seen portraying the role of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who spearheaded the encounter. As the tagline suggests 'The story of India's Most Decorated/Controversial Cop', the case was about this one man who has had 70 encounters, a record 22 convictions from 30 cases and nine Gallantry Awards. The movie is written by Ritesh Shah who previously helmed the hit film 'Pink' and will hit the big screens on August 15, 2019.

John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur were also spotted in Juhu promoting their upcoming film Batla House. The thriller drama is inspired by the real Batla House encounter that took place almost a decade ago on September 19, 2008, which is officially known as Operation Batla House. The incident took place against Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in Batla House locality in Jamia Nagar, Delhi.

Mrunal Thakur in an interview with mid-day talking about her co-star said, "John is great fun to be with. I am so blessed to be sharing screen space with someone like him who is committed, focused and constantly on a tryst to reinvent himself."
