Airport Diaries: Mrunal Thakur, Preity Zinta, Urmila Matondkar, Radhika Apte snapped

Urmila Matondkar was papped by the media at the airport. In May this year, Matondkar celebrated 18 years of Ram Gopal Varma-directed horror movie 'Bhoot'. The 2003 supernatural horror film, written by Varma, revolved around a married couple (Ajay Devgn and Matondkar) who move into a flat that is haunted. She said taking up the lead role in the film was a "huge risk". "18 years of this film! It was a HUGE risk to take up this role that not many actresses would have even thought of," she wrote on Instagram alongside a photograph of a scene from the movie.

Nikki Tamboli was spotted at the aiport in a cool and causal avatar. The actress featured  in the music video of singer Millind Gaba’s new track, Shanti. The party number, which released on June 22, saw the crooner wooing Tamboli during a karaoke session. The lyrics and music are composed by Millind Gaba and additional rap lyrics by Asli Gold.

Ekta Ravi Kapoor, hailed as the queen of Indian Television, was also spotted at the airport. Kapoor on Monday tweeted her excitement over the release "Pavitra Rishta 2", which she recently announced with Ankita Lokhande returning in her popular avatar of Archana. "It's never too late... to love!!! Finally a year of planning later... we embark on our wish of giving Archana one more chance to show her love for Manav! #pavitrarishta #pavitrarishta2 begins!" she wrote on Twitter, tagging Ankita in her post.

The lovely Aditi Rao Hydari looked gorgeous in her blue outfit as she too was spotted at the aiport and clicked by the flashbulbs. The actor penned a heartfelt post to her “favouritest person” Mani Ratnam, who turned 65 recently. The actor, said to be his muse, wished the veteran filmmaker “endless years of making movies, infectious energy, good health and playing golf.” She thanked him for making her believe “that dreams come true.” Hydari maintains that after featuring in Ratnam’s 'Kaatru Veliyidai' (2017) and 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' (2018), South filmmakers looked at her anew.

Radhika Apte's quirky expression caught the fancy of the flashbulbs as she could be seen at the aiport. Apte took her second vaccine shot for Covid exactly a month after her first dose. The actress shared the update with fans on Instagram. "TWICE JABBED" wrote Radhika, using the hashtag 'long live NHS'. The National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the healthcare systems of the United Kingdom.

All masked up and taking full precuations, 'Toofan' actress Mrunal Thakur also arrived at the airport in style. She's set to make her debut in Telugu cinema opposite South superstar Dulquer Salmaan. Produced by Swapna Cinema, the film is being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. It will be presented by Vyjayanthi Films.

Donning a lovely dress, the dimple girl Preity Zinta was clicked by the media. As 'Dil Chahta Hai' turned 20 on August 10, Zinta got nostalgic and shared the memories associated with the movie on social media. Preity, who was paired alongside superstar Aamir Khan in the movie, shared a quick edited clip that features many stills from the movie. In the background, she also added the title track of the movie.

'Mimi' actress never fails to impress and her recent outing and outfit was another instance. Sanon, who is basking in the success of her recently-released film 'Mimi', shared a video featuring some cute memories with Jacob, the little boy who played her son Raj in the Netflix movie. The 'Bareilly ki Barfi' actor, on her Instagram account, posted a lovely reel encapsulating some sweet moments she spent with the child.
