1st Generation
Nanabhai Bhatt was a prominent film director and producer who made significant contributions to Indian cinema. He directed over a hundred fantasy and mythological films, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. Some of his notable works include "Mr. X" (1957), "Lal Qila" (1960), and the blockbuster "Kangan" (1959). One of his groundbreaking films, "Muqabala" (1942), introduced the 'twins' phenomenon in Indian cinema.

Nanabhai married Shirin Bhatt. His family consisted of five daughters and four sons, including Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, and Robin Bhatt, all of whom contributed significantly to the film industry.

2nd Generation
Mukesh Bhatt, starting his producing journey with "Jurm" (1990), steered Vishesh Films to fame. The production house became known for successful ventures like "Raaz," "Jism," "Murder," and "Gangster." He also established popular film franchises like "Raaz," "Murder," and "Jism."

Mukesh Bhatt and Nilima Bhatt got married to each other. They were blessed with two children, Vishesh and Sakshi Bhatt.

Mahesh Bhatt, known for his diverse filmmaking, ventured into both arthouse and commercial cinema. His repertoire includes impactful films like "Saaransh" (1984) and commercially successful romantic hits such as "Awaargi" (1990), "Aashiqui" (1990), and "Sadak" (1991).

Mahesh Bhatt married Lorraine Bright in 1968, and they had two children together - Rahul and Pooja Bhatt.

After Mahesh Bhatt and Lorraine Bright separated, he married Soni Razdan and had two daughters, Alia and Shaheen Bhatt.

3rd Generation
Daughter of Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhat transitioned into producing and directing, after an acting debut in 1989. She gained fame through films like "Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin" (1991) and later ventured into direction with "Paap" in 2004.

Son of Mahesh Bhatt, Rahul Bhatt pursued a career in fitness and appeared on the reality show "Bigg Boss 4."

Alia Bhatt, the shining star of the family, emerged as a leading actress in Bollywood. Her journey began with "Student of the Year," following which she received acclaim for her performances in diverse films like "Highway," "Raazi," and "Gully Boy." Alia also launched her production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions, aiming for fresh storytelling.

Alia Bhatt is married to Ranbir Kapoor, who belongs to the illustrious Kapoor family. He is a beloved figure in the industry. Together they have a daughter named 'Raha'

Shaheen Bhatt is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt. Shaheen is a well-known screenwriter and poet in the industry. 

Vishesh Bhatt, son of Mukesh Bhatt, holds a pivotal role in Vishesh Films. He spearheads strategies, content development, and marketing while driving digital initiatives for the production house. His creative contributions have led to the creation of several blockbuster franchises featuring fresh talent.

Sakshi Bhatt, is the daughter of producer and director Mukesh Bhatt and his wife Nilima. Sakshi tied the knot in a private ceremony in Mumbai with Mazahir Mandasaurwala 

Dharmesh Darshan, originally named Dharmesh Sabharwal, is the son of film producer Darshan Sabharwal and Sheila, the elder sister of renowned filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. He ventured into directing with his first movie, "Lootere" (1993), which he also wrote. This film, produced by his brother Suneel Darshan, became a major success. His directorial journey continued with movies like "Mela," "Dhadkan," and "Raja Hindustani."

Suneel Darshan, on the other hand, has made significant contributions to the film industry as a director and producer. His filmography boasts movies featuring acclaimed actors such as Sunny Deol, Amitabh Bachchan, and Akshay Kumar. Some of his notable works include "Inteqam," "Lootere," "Jaanwar," "Ek Rishtaa," and "Barsaat."

Emraan Hashmi, another successful actor associated with the Bhatt family, has made a mark in Bollywood with roles in musical hits and unconventional characters. He established himself with films like "Murder" (2004), "Aashiq Banaya Aapne" (2005), and "Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai" (2010). His familial ties link him to the Bhatt family through his father's relation to Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt. More recently, he featured in Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3'.

Mohit Suri, related to the Bhatt family through their maternal side, made a significant impact in Bollywood as a director. His films like "Aashiqui 2," "Ek Villain," and "Murder 2" established him as a notable filmmaker. Married to former actress Udita Goswami, Mohit continues to contribute creatively to the Indian film industry. Together they welcomed a child called 'Devi'.
