It’s a dying form of art and Mahesh sir wanted to revive that through this film and people to talk about it, let it live on."

I was fortunate to have a great team working with me, there’s Kruti Mahesh the choreographer who has worked closely with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, having worked on songs like ‘Pinga’ from Bajirao Mastani. To have her on board where she could help me with my expressions, the way I emoted to being there with me. We had three days to rehearse and learn this form of dance. What one generally does in three-four months we had to do in three days.”
