Shah Rukh Khan and Ssumier S. Pasricha: Ssumier aka Pammi Aunty took the internet by storm for his uncanny resemblance to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. He was reportedly approached by makers of an untitled film to portray King Khan's brother. He was also part of the TV show Sasural Simar Ka. London-based filmmaker Gurinder Chadha has claimed to be a fan of his work.
Divya Bharti and Rambha: Salman Khan's Judwaa co-star Rambha had replaced the late Bollywood actress Divya Bharti, after her untimely death. Divya was shooting for a Telegu film titled Tholi Muddhu, and after her death, the role was offered to Rambha, as she resembled the late actress.
Hrithik Roshan and Harman Baweja: Hrithik Roshan is often likened to a Greek God. And when Harman Baweja arrived, the comparisons with Hrithik were inevitable. However, none of the 'godly' blessings seemed to have worked in Harman's favour as the comparison proved to be a major deterrent. The young actor was the butt of jokes with some even saying that he was contemplating plastic surgery for an original look.
Ranbir Kapoor and Shashank Vyas: When Television actor Shashank Vyas posted this snapshot on social media, fans of the Balika Vadhu and Jaana Na Dil Se Door actor found a striking similarity between him and Ranbir Kapoor. Some fans wondered if it was inspired by one of Ranbir Kapoor's looks in Sanju. Shashank Vyas was flooded with comments about the uncanny resemblance to Ranbir. 'I have been getting so many comments on Instagram on how I look exactly like Ranbir Kapoor. It is such an honour to be told this. Ranbir is a powerhouse performer and it feels amazing to be compared to him, even if it is in just the way I look,' he said.
Esha Gupta and Lara Dutta: As soon as the promos of Esha Gupta's debut film Jannat 2 were out, fans could not help but notice a striking resemblance to Lara Dutta. Not only do the two actresses look similar, their professional graph, too, is identical. They have been beauty queens and won the Miss India crown before moving on to modelling and then eventually entering the film industry. Esha Gupta is also known to bear resemblance to Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.
Katrina Kaif and Zareen Khan: Even before her debut film Veer released, Zareen Khan made waves for her uncanny resemblance to Katrina Kaif. The grapevine was abuzz with rumours that Salman Khan had decided to launch her as he was nursing wounds from his relationship with Kat. Though Zareen had the same dreamy eyes, rosy lips and defined jawline as Katrina's, she perhaps lacked the luck, that made the London lass an A-lister.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sneha Ullal: Is it a coincidence or does Salman Khan have an innate talent to discover look-alikes of his alleged ex-flames? When Sneha Ullal debuted with Salman in Lucky: No Time For Love, we couldn't help but notice how her porcelain complexion, blue eyes and pout resembled former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The similarity seems to be Sneha's sole claim to fame as people still recall her as Ash's lookalike.
Amitabh Bachchan and Sonu Sood: A self-confessed Amitabh fan, Sonu feels thrilled whenever he is compared to Bollywood's living legend. A tall frame, strong jawline and a deep voice characterise the two actors. It was reported that Sonu bagged the role of Abhishek Bachchan's brother in Yuva because of this semblance. Sonu has even revealed that he would love to essay Amitabh's character if Deewar was ever remade.
Chitrangda Singh and Smita Patil: Chitrangda Singh has often been compared to Smita Patil. Don't you think they bear an uncanny resemblance?
Dia Mirza and Evelyn Sharma: If you take a closer look at Dia and Evelyn, you will notice quite a few similarities. Fair-skinned with rosy cheeks, the duo has the doe-eyed look. However, the comparison doesn't end there. The two beauties share a common background - an Indo-German one. If this union gives us lovely ladies like Dia and Evelyn, we're not complaining!
Aditi Rao Hydari and Manjari Fadnis: While Aditi's royal looks and sartorial choices have always been a talking point, Manjari seems to have taken her glam quotient a notch higher post her Grand Masti act. And we have come across many instances when people, including Bollywood enthusiasts, have mistaken Manjari for Aditi. Light complexion, bright eyes, a prominent nose, a disarming smile, same height and figure... the list of similarities seem endless.
