IPL founder Lalit Kumar Modi broke the internet on Thursday evening after he announced on social media that he is dating Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. Addressing Sen as his 'better half', Modi shared pictures from their recent holiday in Sardinia coupled with pictures from their meetings in the past.

On Thursday, Modi took to his social media handle to share pictures from his trip to the Italian island, Sardinia. What took the internet by storm was his pictures with Sushmita Sen and him addressing the former Miss Universe as his 'better half'.
"Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives #sardinia with the families - not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 - a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon," wrote Modi sharing a couple of pictures with Sushmita from their recent trip. While it was assumed that the two tied the knot, Modi subsequently clarified that they are only dating. But he also expressed his interest in marrying the Bollywood star in the future.
In the past few days, Sushmita was seen sharing stunning pictures of herself from her holiday in Sardinia.
Lalit was previously married to Minal Sagrani, whom he married in October of 1991. They had two children together - son Ruchir and daughter Aliya. Modi is also a stepfather to Karima Sagrani, from Minal's first marriage. Unfortunately, Minal lost her life to cancer in 2018.
On the other hand, Sushmita was in a relationship with model Rohman Shawl, whom she met through Instagram in 2018, but broke up with him last year. She is a mother of two adopted daughters Renee and Alisah.
