Do you remember these pop songs and singers from the '90s?

Deewane Toh Deewane Hain (Shweta Shetty): Shweta Shetty is best remembered for her peppy number Deewane Toh Deewane Hain. Can you guess the TV actors featured in the music video along with Shweta? It is Kushal Punjabi (left), Chetan Hansraj and Akashdeep Saigal (right). That's a blast from the past, isn't it?

Phir Hath Mein Sharab Hai (Pankaj Udhas): A beautifully picturised song, which brings out the bond between a single father and his daughter, Udhas' voice adds a magical touch to the emotions portrayed.

Made In India (Alisha Chinai): Even after all these years, Alisha is remembered as the voice behind Made In India. The mellifluously rendered song became a rage and, till date, is among the most popular pop numbers in the country.

Dil Dhadke (Baba Sehgal): Today's generation can be excused for asking, Baba Sehgal who? But, in the 90s, he was among the most popular singers around. The Dil Dhadke song, in which he shared screen space with a fan, was rather amusing.

Pari Hoon Main (Suneeta Rao): It has been more than two decades since the song hit the TV screens. Till date though, Rao is referred to as the Pari. The song was a chartbuster of its time, most noted for its bubbly rendition.

Sa Ni Dha Pa (Colonial Cousins): This was a song from the debut album of Colonial Cousins - formed by Hariharan and Lesle Lewis. Sa Ni Dha Pa, which had a brilliant fusion of Indian and Western music, worked wonders and opened up a new genre for upcoming artists to explore.

Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi (Falguni Pathak): A rewind of the 90s music scene in India would be incomplete without the mention of Falguni Pathak. Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi was one of her many popular numbers, which depicts the journey of a girl (Riya Sen) falling in love.

Anjaani Raahon Mein Tu Kya (Lucky Ali): The 90s saw Ali at his very best, crooning one memorable number after the other. The song Anjaani Raahon Mein was part of the album Meri Jaan Hindustan - released to mark 50 years of India's independence and made one proud to be an Indian.

Dooba Dooba Rehta Hoon (Silk Route): Much before he reclaimed fame as the Masakali singer, Mohit Chauhan came to prominence as the lead singer of the band Silk Route. Dooba Dooba from the album Boondein was a chartbuster, primarily due to the melodious voice of Chauhan aided with soulful music.

Aankhon Mein Tera Hi Chehra (Aryans): Yes, that is a very young Shahid Kapoor featuring in the extremely popular music video from Aryans. While the Aryans have disappeared, Shahid has gone on to become a moderately successful Bollywood star.

Kya Soorat Hai (Bombay Vikings): 'Baby no one so sexy, in the whole galaxy, you make my heart go beating harder' - Remember the lyrics of the song, which catapulted Bombay Vikings to popularity?

Gur Naal Ishq Mitha (Bally Sagoo): This song was a rage in the 90s. Topping every music chart, it was a must-play at sangeet and marriage ceremonies among other functions. And who can forget Malaika Arora, looking gorgeous as ever?

Chuimui Si Tum Lagti Ho (Various Artists): This song from the album Yeh Hai Prem was picturised on the beautiful Preeti Jhangiani and the handsome Abbas. In terms of romantic pop numbers, it is up there with the best.

Afreen Afreen (Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan): The legendary Sufi singer brought out his own music album, Sangam, in the mid-90s, and Afreen Afreen was the standout track. Featuring the stunning Lisa Ray, the song effortlessly found its way into audiences' hearts.

Roop Tera Mastana (Shaan): This was the song that set the trend for remixes. Although today's rehashes are pretty much unbearable, Shaan's video was highly appreciated thanks to its unique presentation, which was fun and vibrant at the same time.

Pal (KK): This ode to friendship by KK was unforgettable, and remains one of the most loved songs on friendship. The wonderful flashback manner in which the video was shot gave the song even more credence.

Ab Mujhe Raat Din (Sonu Nigam): The singer brought out a couple of hugely successful albums in the 90s, and this romantic song from Deewana, featuring Sushma Reddy and Diwaker Pundir, was right up there in terms of popularity.

Dil Le Gayi Kudi Gujarat Di (Jasbir Jassi): This peppy track from the album Dil Le Gayi was a party favourite, and pitchforked the Punjabi singer to stardom in the music industry. Apart from the music, the lyrics and picturisation of the song also appealed to the youth.

Tere Bin Jeena Nahi (Bali Brahmbhatt): Even a moderately popular singer like Brahmbhatt earned his two minutes of fame during the 'music video' era. The song being mentioned was picturised on Anupama Verma and Bikram Saluja and was liked by audiences.
