Speaking about Honey 3.0 he said, "It's my third album and I'm dropping it nine years after 'Desi Kalakaar.' I started the album last year in September, that time I was in a romantic mood so I made the album about love. Few of my friends came from Patiala and said only 'Naagan' is like the old Honey Singh and theth Punjabi, the rest is too much romance."

When quizzed about working with everyone from Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh and Salman Khan he said, "There is nobody bigger than these names. I had done 'Yaar Na Mile' with Salman bhai but I was away in London shooting for my film and could not be part of the video. This time around I'm sharing the screen with Salman bhai in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.'

The singer-rapper had taken a break when he was recovering from mental health challenges. Recalling that period he said, "When I was sick at home I was struggling between life and death but now when I look back it was much needed. I could not handle money and fame, I got into various addictions."

When asked about the Indian artist he wishes to collaborate with he was quick to pick Arijit Singh.
